I am pretty sure he got banned from the air cooled FB groups for posting his FS ad over and over again. It has been “for sale” for many years for $795k then recently lowered to $495k.
Huge WTF were they thinking with those yellow seat backs..
That car needs some serious PPF alternate color wrapping, seat backs included. I would wrap it silver and change the floor mats, save the wheels and get some solid spoke 993TT stock refinished wheels. I can live with the rest. This one is akin to a Green/Green/Green 993 Turbo S that sold at Marshal Goldman recently for $750K. I mean who specs a car in all green? Same guy that specs a car in all Blue. Will be fun to watch. 993TTS is Holy Grail of aircooled so a piece of history for sure.
Lovely looking example of a low mileage 95. All stock which probably means there's a fair bit needed for new suspension as well as any other bits and pieces.
Can't get over the Red.. but at 1/184, 185 if you count project Gold 993TTS, this will make someone very happy. I would have to trade half the stable to get into one of these and I am not ready to do that any time soon. Link below, no affiliation:

Very cool car. Red grows on you--ask me how I know.
That car has been sold, registered, and or serviced in more than ten states and at least one Canadian province. It reminds me a bit of the Meissen Blue 997 TT I had that sported only 5,500 miles on the odometer and had travelled twice around the world on the back of a truck.
I can't get over the fish-like gill on the rear quarter panel--so cool.
it might just be me, but nothing about a 993 being available at a jeep dealer makes me feel positive about the car. could be a great car, could be a good dealer - it's just a circumstance that makes me wonder how it happened. i would proceed cautiously on that one.

Guy was probably upside down on a loan and needed to buy a new car to bail him out of it. That is if a lender would loan money on a car that was previously totaled.

Yeah, I personally I have a rule not to buy cars that have been totalled, but thought some folks would like to see a bunch of pics of a yellow 993.
Was looking at 2014 CPO, not a DIYer, but have reliable independent mechanic for any work. Appreciate any ideas and input. Seller has lowered price to $37,000. Thanks!

You're new to this forum but don't know if you're new to air-cooled P-cars.
If not, from a pure price-point anything between $33-36k sounds reasonable for a higher-mileage tippy.
If, however, you're new to 993s or earlier P-cars, then you should:
Read up on this forum.
Find a local air-cooled specialist to do a PPI (google Rennlist 993 PPI Phoenix); figure that would cost anywhere between $300 to $700. Don't go to a Porsche dealer...
Patrick Motorsport is nearby and has a good reputation. Maybe consider them for a PPI. I have no affiliation but my friend had his 964 worked on recently (suspension, alignment, steering rack) and is very pleased with their work.
