Those look like the latch attachments for car seats that I've seen on Canadian cars. Also, the description for the car says "Leather Dash ($893)" but the dash to me looks like the standard vinyl.

I recently researched this. Apparently, the anchors are there on all cars but the panel is covered on US models. In Canada, I believe 993s were delivered with the window through the panel to give access for the top tether system.

So it’s either a Canada (or other market) original car or someone in the US had kids they wanted to bring along and researched the back panel mod to get to the anchors for car seats.

The Carfax scared me away... any info on the accident(s)? The dealer claimed it was the same accident but Carfax erroneously included it 3 times.

Also aren't the AC sliding ***** missing?

The leather on the seats looks a bit rough. Stored outside in the sun? A lot of cracks.

i am a big fan of the 964 sport seats, but these are just as cool with the 993 center stitch pattern...

Its a consignment car.
I remember it having a accident on the Carfax when he bought it. Yes the dealer would be correct. When the owner showed the car to me when he was purchasing
it had only one incident. The owner purchased it here originally:

’97 C4 Cab
Conda Green / Blue
24k miles, $85k, original owner

Color combo is not for me but you don’t see a conda green 993 too often. Blue interior with hardbacks and green stitching. Whoa

I believe that the collectible car market will be just fine and will contact upward as long as the stock market stays strong. The market is screaming up right now and people (who invest in it) are feeling pretty good.
