Agree, when I bought mine last year (38k miles) it hadn't been driven an inch in more than 7 years and I spent all last weekend spanking her hard with no issues.
Bought my 95 C2 with 17500 miles. Have driven it 2000 miles this summer. No issues.
If it's truly a flawless 30k mile example of a C2 manual coupe, then 65k is certainly fair.
If it had LSD and original sports seats maybe fair, no options $5K - $7K less. Prices are down from 2 years ago. You're buying from a friend, not full retail.
Figure on a new suspension if it's original.
Note I bought my 95 C2 with 29K miles three years ago for around $60K. No LSD or sports seats, original shocks (Boge). PSS10 made the car sooo much better.

Has anyone noticed 993 prices taking a small dip lately?
they are certainly off prices from 2 years ago and remain a tad soft maybe. i would say the turbos and WBs are holding best obviously with the NB cars following a gap behind. a 993NB is a nice deal when compared to similar 964NBs. the BIG question i have is when will the uber/ev/'don't want to own a car' types start having a greater impact on overall prices. every generation of car moves out of public interest at some point - antiques, classics, musclecars, etc. - by the lack of interest from current and potentially upcoming generations. that makes me wonder how quickly the ICE cars will fall out of favor. if it's a quick transition, some of us might get stuck with some really cool 'old' cars that decline in value over a very short period. time will tell.

Pss10. RS sway bars. In good shape.
8 or 9 out of 10 interior. Seriously. Stock interior. Leather seats are still impressive.
Fully maintained at the highest level. All records available.
Purrs Like a kitten and runs perfectly. Well balanced and fun and good for track and taking wife to dinner.

I realize your Q is likely rhetorical but on the Facebook 993 group a car similar to what you describe was asking $65k.
If I recall, it was 95 C4. 180k miles but within past 40k miles had a 3.8 engine rebuild and transmission regear. Pss10. Costs of upgrades were reportedly at $70k. Seems like it would be a great deal for someone interested in eventually upgrading from a stock car.
^^^ He is having issues moving most everything. F cars seem to be the toughest. Not a good time for him or most in this business although the nice cars do fetch strong money. I was told what it sold for but asked not to disclose. I will say it was not cheap. Buyer wanted a tip. A year ago he sold another S tip with far less miles for 6 figures.
Recession is coming.... wait till 3Q 2020 deals will be had! Downhill from there...and even better deals as people will need to unload for cash... being in the Economics Business all the indicators are ripe next 18 months out for downturn.
