@GBos1: No better words spoken.
@SToronto: Car is not listed in any link that I know of. PM me and I'l give you the dealer/agent's contact info.
I only like to post the leads I have direct knowledge of, not really looking to advertise anyone else's business, that said that car sat here on RL for like 5 months and nobody paid mind to it. Now new seller is asking about $10k above what PO was asking. And car has been resprayed in some parts since. I just happen to know the new seller from the local Porsche scene here in Miami but he also does Italian, English and other supercars as well as race cars. PM for more details.

What’s the going rate/range for a Black over brown manual cab built in 97? 79k miles one owner, has new top and recent top end rebuild.
it obviously needs a ppi but the carfax looks clean. Spent most it’s life in Cali and now Az.

This car has been for sale for at least a year and a half with Udrive. It dates back to when I started searching for my 993. There's nothing wrong with the ask - especially for a dealer - so out of curiosity I emailed them last month asked why, at a (seemingly) fair ask, the car had sat for so long. I got the following reply:
This is one of my personal cars. I own the dealership. Although the car had been on my website, it was not for sale until this past fall. It is a beauftuf car and I have declined many offers. The market for air cooled cars, specialty cars in general, slowed last year. Due to the strong stock market, sales of specialty cars have taken off again in recent months. Feel free to call if you would like to discuss.Todd Myers

He's wrong about it only being for sale since fall 2017 - my notes go back to summer of 2016 so my guess is someone's not telling the whole story.
If you find anything out, be sure to let us know.

I completed the PPI yesterday on this car, but ultimately decided to back out of the deal as I found out it was re-sprayed. Message me if you want the results of the PPI.

I'm pretty sure I remember that car for sale the summer of '16 too . I bought my car in June '16 and was looking everywhere for a driver car, that car was too nice (and too expensive) for me.
PS sometime you can find old stuff (currently not on website) using : web.archive.org , when I first used it was called wayback machine. Reference to Mr. Peabody's Improbable history ( they had a Wayback machine ) which was on the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon.
Just checked it out again and not as good as I remember.
