I think it went for cheaper than usual based on what I've seen elsewhere. Maybe due to being Red but the going rate for these crosses the half a $Mill mark usually. Canepa has one for $785k Ask but it has 1500 miles only and it is the fabled Silver/Red. These are special cars and they are being moved here and there. Wouldn't surprise me if we see it pop up at a dealer soon.

I think low $400k is the market-clearing price (and that's before auction fee and sales tax). There are listings for way above that, but they're just priced to sit.

Rarity only drives price if the object is desirable.

Limited to NB's, my perception is C2 > C4, or maybe C2 = C4. I think the desirability factor of the C2 cancels out the rarity factor of the C4. IMHO.

‘97 Carrera, Arena/Cashmere live on BaT:

One owner, 11k miles, already bid to $65k. This will be an interesting one to watch..

Smart. My indy repair shop had a similar low mileage 993 2 years ago in for repairs. It was purchased with no PPI due to the low mileage. Cost him about $15k to get it sorted. Then he ended up selling it for 10K less that the purchase price a few months later.

Another BAT sales data point. $60k (before site fee and TTL) NB w/ 70k on odo.
The price rise continues.

They probably lowered the reserve during last minutes that is why the site does not note 'Winning Bid' yet it still says 'current bid: $60,000.00 Time: 0.00. These last minutes on BAT have been confusing to say the least.

Well that's disappointing. PPI was set up for tomorrow and then someone ended up putting a deposit down, no PPI required. Ah well.

Now do I want that green/tan 996 Turbo I saw last weekend...
