The peanut gallery was obsessed with this car and I’m not exactly sure why. It does look nice, and the photography was well done but you’re right, I wasn’t blown away either.

It did sell for 1k more than it did on BaT in December 2018 when it had 3.5k fewer miles so I guess two different buyer valuations ended up very close.

Presentation was spectacular- and it seems to be the key color combo everyone wants. (sport seats too) and that engine note! wow.

Based upon the market, it's more like a $115k car.

It's been for sale for a LOOOONG time. It started out with an ask in the high 130s.

I was very (and pleasantly) surprised at that pricing. But the photography--wow. Stunning. Easily adds dough to the value.

The crowd pumped up that BAT NB 993. Factory body kit was a plus but incorrect 996 sport seats did not merit that price. Regardless good to see higher mileage 993s fetch such a sum. Just reasures Pricing will be correct when I decide to offer mine again.

I'll sell my C2 for $80k. Ha! Cleaner than that car. This auction also has me re-thinking my agreed value insurance policy
I think the narrow body cars are finally catching on. Theres less of them than people think. 6949 NB coupes sold in the US.
Of those 6949 how many are automatic.? How many are totaled? I would argue that there may be less than 4000 manual C2 left in the US.
Not sure how many automatics were sold. Anyone know?

Default More 993WB Blues.....

I keep getting these offered. Don’t they know I already fulfilled the 993 Craze...?

https://canepa.com/photo-gallery/199...carrera-s6235/

he’s got 2 this ‘97 and a ‘98 aerokit. The Zenith Blue is just stunning. 17k miles. If somebody here picks her up let us know. Would be perfect of sports seats but that is just me picking nits.

stay safe everyone!

Agree that car would be about perfect with hardbacks... any idea what the ask is on it? I'm hunting for a unique one.

What was that commercial years ago? Folgers, it's got to be good.

Canepa, it's got to be expensive.

Met with seller yesterday, car is absolutely stunning. It's accurately described in the listing.

I drove that car a few years ago. I suggest asking to drive it before bidding so you know what you're getting. ALL 993s drive differently.

I don't have enough specific recollection of it; only know I didn't buy it.

Really like this car and would consider a bid but that blue interior is just too much blue for me. Will wait to scratch the 993 itch.

Probably not, I believe it will end up beyond my budget.
