Default For those who collect 993 models

I drove the wife to Target(NA) an hour ago and good thing I went inside with her(I usually sit in the 993 ). I found this and bought(only $30) it right away. The interior is well detailed and it's proportion is in good scale. It's actually an RC, but it will sit in my "P" model collection.

**Found it by the Automotive section** not the toy section.

Cool model. By the way..what kind of wing is it? The base of it looks like it is RS...but the wing itself (the black blade) is different from what I've seen

The car is a GT2 Evo and that is the type of tail they used.

CM:

Can you provide the Target SKU for the model, or a manufacturer/model no./name.

I would love to find one out here when I make the weekly trek with my 3 year old.

TIA

Sweet! Thanks, Mike, for the heads up. I'm getting one, too.

You have an RC10? You geek. So do I. Haven't messed with it in years, though.

That's a nice an cheap model there! Great find!

If one is looking for the ultimate GT2 replica's the FG Modellsport company in Germany is making some amazing replica's in 1:5 scale... They are not cheap though...

Mark, yes I do have an RC-10, but I think it's burried in the attic. I do have a 10 scale road car, an HPI. I'm yet to paint a 993 lexan body. It has an accord right now. Like you, it's been ages since I ran them. I'll attach pix of the HPI. //Have fun on your fun run tomorrow.

I actually found that GT2 by the auto accesories section. Everyone who's 20ft around me must have heard me when I saw it and exclaimed "whoooa"!!!

DJF1, Those are real nice models from that German site! Are they really 1:5 scale?? Those are huge! THta's probably why they want lots of $$$

Mike:

Thanks again for this thread. Went to Target, sure enough, right there in the automotive section.

Didn't buy any oil, but folks sure thought I was nuts for being so interested in the model.

Yippee !

Do they come in different colors? I'm thinking I need two - one for my 7 year old son, one for me!
