Pick up a genuine RS Wing for my 993 at the Weekend, now I have the complete Kit, so will be looking at getting it painted/mounted over the next coupla months..

Went to collect in my 968 Sport, a very different Beast, but was so much fun in the Sun..

Took her out of long term storage and straight to state inspection - passed like a charm!

Penultimate time before she gets historic plates and no longer inspections needed!

Here in NH you can get antique plates ( 0ver 25 yrs old), BUT: Vehicles with antique license plates in the state may only be used for exhibitions, parades, car club meetings and other special functions.

I drove mine to work today.

^You can do this in California as well. I wonder how strict they are about it though.

My ***** were starting to get sticky and gross, like all Becker C(D)R-220 ***** do, so I cleaned them with paint thinner, sanded them, and dipped them in plasti-dip.

Thanks for clarifying, so I went ahead and ordered the wi-fi version as I believe that is what I have (Option code 490). Didn't notice an amp under the passenger seat (some plastic was protruding, perhaps that was it?) but I do have the raised rear speakers and the larger door speakers, so that would suggest it is the hi-fi option (see some old pics, was best what I had showing the speakers)

Today I parked my 993 under my newly installed lift for the first time.

Temps were high in DFW area, so a good time to wash cars

Put together the Quickjack 5000. Bled the system and had it working perfectly. Got my car raised and locked into position. Brought it back down. Lifted it back up and when I went to drop it, the passenger side decided to seize up while the driver's side dropped down. At this point the sides were completely out of balance and the car was hanging in the air, tilted like crazy. I seriously thought the thing was going to fall off on to its side. I juggled the up and down until I finally got the passenger side to drop, which it did...extremely slowly. I thought I was going to have a heart attack watching the car teeter totter.

I set up the Quickjack per instructions and it appeared to work just fine. It's quite possible that I screwed up somewhere, but this really freaked me out. Back it goes to Costco.

Installed a set of turbo twists, after getting new Firestone indy 500 tires. Plan on lowering the car just a tad.
