Default portable automatic stop compressor?

Haven't been lurking in a while, Hi to all, just been busy.

Anybody know of an electric portable air compressor I can take around at each corner and set an automatic stop at a chosen psi? I want to bend down once and gitterdone in one step. Enjoy more, tweak less.

I've never seen any compressor that can do such things, however I have seen tire gauges that do.

Look at Longacre for that.

Hi Steve!

Costco has such a device, although industrial. They hook the key onto the tire valve, input a pressure into the gismo and it either inflates or deflates depending on your desired pressure on that tire. Presto, done. This is what I'd like. You'd think somebody would have applied this to the home. Sounds easy enough right?

Yeah, I got the expensive large gauge etc., Too many steps, getting old

This is about as close as you can get for the money. Hook it up to a compressor or an air tank.

FWIW,......

Several years ago, I sent my entire collection of tire pressure gauges to a testing lab for calibration since I'd seen wide discrepancies on the same tire and didn't know which one(s) were telling me the truth.

The big epiphany was that only one of the six was accurate in the pressure range that I used most; the rest were more than 5 lbs wide of the target and that was/is unacceptable to me.

The only one I use now is my digital Longacre one; the rest are cool ornaments.

Which model Longacre do you recommend for the amateur?

Thanks,
Michael

Very cool! May have to order one of these. Think the gauge is accurate? Have you ever check it with another hand held gauge?

There is no automatic stop on the Griot's "Digital Tire Inflating Gun".
