And no, idiot, I'm not looking for a 911 because I want to use it for burnouts. Are you really that judgemental and stupid to think that I couldn't fathom using a car for more than one thing? Your opinion offers me zero help and will forever offer me nothing, so thanks but no thanks. The question was simply that. A question. I'm far more interested in 911s because of the way they go around a track. The question was asked because it was a discussion I had amongst friends and we found no evidence that it could be done, so I came to a better source.

If all you choose to do is come into a thread and try to put me down, you can save your breath and time because at this point, you seem to be nothing more than an old arrogant *******. Have a happy new year.
You need to find new friends.

Eddie Bello has been doing burnouts for 15 years in 911's... So to answer your question, YES. you CAN do a burnout in a 911. Now lets put this thread to bed.

He could have held that burnout for as long as he wanted, especially if he had street tires on it (at :49)

Jeeze, dude, take a breath. If you are not having any fun, and you're not learning anything, step back and take another tack.

Whelp, I stand corrected 😮

OP keep us posted on the development of your car in another thread please. I'd like to see what you end up doing and how it turns out along the way. Cheers!

I used to spend a fair amount of time on this forum. In more recent years, I tend to only lurk sporadically, while awaiting new content to be posted on other sites that have captured my current interests (my 993 is still my favorite car though!).

That said, when I see some of the current crew of enlightened know-it-alls pontificate and attempt to make the OP feel stupid, I just shake my head in dismay. I remember this forum being far less judgmental 7-8 years ago. Seems to me he had a legitimate question, and asked it without a chip on his shoulder. So you think burnouts in a 993 are stupid. I would agree that they're probably not the best idea, but why be a condescending $h!thead about it?

In fairness to the OP he only wanted to know if a 911 could do a burn out.
But in defense to all of us clowns (with too much free time on our hands this weekend) who commented on the topic, we just had to expose the fact that the OP still has alot to learn..
Burn outs. lol... reminds me of being 17

There is no question this thread is about maturity issues now. Op is young and just isn't there yet. But I also see some of the responders aren't either.
Op many on this forum are enthusiasts of the marque and view what you are doing as not fun , but abuse.
Maybe a different forum more dedicated to what you are trying to do would be more beneficial. Ie a younger crowd.

Good luck.

Not exactly a burnout, but some wheel spin on launch.

I wonder how many searches for "911 burnouts" have been entered into the youtube search function since this topic was posted! LOL
