And, I'm sure the people around you when you "launch", or are coming the opposite way, as you "launch into a turn" (do explain...) might say the same: there goes a dick in a Porsche.

Exactly! Glad someone understands that you can actually learn a lot about a car by sliding it. Looks like a blast. Your gt2 build is epic btw. I may pick your brain about some suspension components when I get started on my rs inspired build

Op I don't think you can period but I do think it's okay for you to try and tell us how it goes - I'd be curious but I hope you don't end up losing your 993 due to $000's of drive train repair or worse. The only 993's that can do burnouts are heavily modded turbos imo. Maybe if you got a brake bias dial installed it might help or if you put a puddle of water behind each tire. There's just too little power and too much traction at the back. It's your car to enjoy anyway you like. I would try it first on a rainy day.

Lol.
In 25 years time you'll look back and laugh at that comment.

Like the "Trade my 996 for a 993" thread this one has devolved into a bunch of crap, someone please have the decency to close it.

Then we're about 30 years removed from similar experiences. When I was 23 I'd converted my 911 into a faux IROC, open a Porsche/BMW specialty outfit in Phoenix after I graduated college, and was racing SCCA both in my own Scirocco and any formula car or sports racer I could get time in. Honing those skills was what it was all about, as opposed to being on the same page the sideshow idiocy we regularly have here in Oakland.
