Love it! Way to use that car.
Not exactly camping but I slept in the driver seat of mine a couple of weeks ago, I'd say it was one of the most uncomfortable nights of my life. I got to drive it right before I went to sleep and right after I woke up though so I'd say that made up for it.

Saw this thread while looking for something else. We have camped and taken our '86 Targa up Washington states highest maintained road, all gravel to Slate Peak.
Came up with the below for autocross with our RSA. We use our never to be 'fixed' diesel for endurance rally and two week plus off-road trips.

^ Wow, you did the Alcan winter rally. I did the Alcan summer rally back in the day. That was enough for me.
It was 10-12 hours a day of driving for 2 weeks. I re-call one day off. Winter must be insane.
