First, I'll add I'm also looking forward to the end result.
Now, the difficultly factor. It kinda isn't. Just that now we're looking at cutting into a car that's worth real money, versus the POS 2.7L cars we were sloping and turbo flaring 25 years ago.......
The fact that I loathe painting cars, and can't get really anyone here in the Bay Area to consider that painting an unblemished car is a sub-$10K project keeps me stock. Or unrepaired, in the case of the one.

Very cool. Subscribed.
It's wild to me to see all of this cutting and welding. My but is squinching up thinking about adding cab lights to my truck - and then I see you do this. Makes me say "Go for it!"

Thanks! Funny enough, it only took us 8 days to get to the point for a complete respray. I don't think we rushed at all, but its just the nature of this conversion, it wasn't so complicated. Engine stays standard for a while, however I will get a new set of KW V3's and interior will be stripped out, only a roof liner and a basic carpet, a Heigo or DAS rollbar, an OMP steering wheel and a set of Recaro Pole Positions.

Thanks for the kinds words! All the body parts were ordered from Gert, I'm not sure about the make, but its top notch stuff, the material quality, and especially the fit. Contact him and he will answer all your questions, a great guy to work with.

Eatbreathdrive, to do the sunroof delete, did you think about cutting off the roof, doing a cage, and then re-roof instead?

This is amazing. Keep up the great work We actually have a pretty good rebate going on for the KW V3's now through the end of July. For more information Click Here.

Subscribed as well.
Great stuff, thanks for posting a lot of photos!
Very interested to hear how the roof bondo holds up without cracking, when welded good and using right bondo, should be fine I assume.

Inprired by the ballsy sunroof delete displayed here, I will attempt the same. That will be a temporary fix untill I put in a full cage and a CF roof later on....
