Jon-- Glad to get your PMs. Another input for the brainstorming session:

While you're filling in for a clean look, check out the following clamshell's nonexistent edges.
Without the need for yours to open for a soft-top, you're also freed from adding body gaps/ lines
...allowing a smoother flow from the quarter panels to the Speedster humps than the rest of ours.

Here's some more food for thought .. credit Z. Mayne for the excellent photography and Jager for bringing it to our attention.
Another Speedster photo new to RL. Picture it without the tail, etc.:

Just came across this thread while looking for something else. What ever happened to John or his Speedster?

After helping with measurements AMGfan asked for, last heard directly from Jon in 2013.
Last RL post was 2014 on this thread.
Just sent him a PM asking him to post more Slate Grey goodness here.

Per an update on 1 of least 3 other forums where he has similar build threads:

AMGfan's still making the world a more beautiful place, 1 Speedster at time...

P.S. Click here for a timely Speedster thread.
