How "anal" are you with respect to keeping the 993 clean?

I'm totally bad, and am actively tying not to be. My car needs to be 100% all the time. This takes a lot of time and money. My time has been seriously lacking.
Good wax does help, but doesn't have to cost a ton. I've found Colonite wax to look good and last, it's about $30 a tub, same goes for Einszett Glanz Wax.
