Default Buzzing sound in forward area

I initially thought it was the CCU fan that I've heard can make a buzzing sound.
However, this sound is hear in the cabin, but also pretty noticeable when the bonnet is open.

You can hear the door open chime in the background, but the noise I'm referring to is the buzzing, almost sounds like a vacuum cleaner!

It would be louder and higher pitch with some shrieking.

My oil cooling fan (at front righthand side) used to make such buzzing sound. Had it checked by shop. Turned out to be fan's holding rack was rusty and loose. Replaced with a new rack and the buzzing sound never came back.

This may be a defective relay in the fuse box, or maybe one of the relays down at the bottom of the wheel whell?
Cheers,
Tore

LOL!

Kidding aside, I'm no help if it is up close to the dash, but if it is from either front corner, then the fan of the oil cooler or aircon hitting it's housing sounds reasonable. But then it would be intermittent as they came on or off.

Q for the board: If it is fuel pump, is there some relay he could remove or something, and turn on the key, to see if the noise is still there?

You could check if it's the fuelpump by jumping with a triple wire the (3)30/(5)87/(7)87b iso the DME relay.

I hear buzzing sound too when the hood is open but not that loud. Fuel pump is my guess too.

Have a similar noise. Not loud and only noticeable when I open the trunk and car is running. Is it normal or something to worry about?
