38 in September. Owned a 928 in University but always had my eye on a 993 and this past Spring the dream came true. The only thing i would trade her in for is a 993TT, best looking Pcar ever IMHO

You young whippersnappers -- quit fooling around on Rennlist and get back to work!
You have to make the money JPP and I will get in a few years as Social Security payments.

40.
Bought my 993 when I was 34.
Bought a '73 911E targa when I was 20.
That lasted about 1.25 years. I crashed it; couldn't afford to fix it; gave it to PartsHeaven for $3,500 (don't want to talk/hear about it); vowed to get another one someday (and hopefully several more to come).

I was a teenager working in a Porsche dealership at that time, just dreaming about how cool it would be to one day own a 911.
OT sidebar: For you uhhh... more experienced... guys here: Remember when Dick Smothers of The Smothers Bros had an U2L Trans Am race team? Well our dealership had an ex-factory race mechanic. After the Brainerd Trans Am race, the Team dropped the car off to have our mechanic deal with a transmission issue. the highlight of that summer for me was going along for the test drive after the tech fixed the transmission. The Tech definitely drove like a *****.
