engine under tray

I've owned this car since it was new. Picked it up with 42 miles on the ODO. The engine tray is still on. Major engine work by year:
1996 - none:::2002 - none:::2008 - none
1997 - none:::2003 - none:::2009 - none
1998 - none:::2004 - none:::2010 - none
1999 - none:::2005 - none:::2011 - none
2000 - none:::2006 - none:::2012 - none
2001 - none:::2007 - none
I guess I just have a lot of faith in the Porsche engineers' design. It certainly hasn't hurt my engine yet, but the car is barely broken in.

And the OP asked a question that no one has answered. Everyone's started beating the dead horse instead. Answer the question or just.....let......it.....be!!!!!!!
Mark, nice pics. I'm sure the SPCA just put you on a special list!
Cactus, +1 on the Geto Boys! That entire soundtrack is awesome!

Any news on the tests....GregLabadie
The Canadian guy is Alex; user name IXLR8.
About this time each year, he spends a couple of months in the Alps, riding his motorcycle. Send him a note, and he'll reply when he gets back.

Theo,
That is where the work goes into it. Also some strategic vents were added. Provides 5 to 15 degs of diffuser angle (adjustable) at the back. This is strictly for a race car and would make no sense on a street car (except for cool factor). Best of all, it really works to balance the extended front splitter (EVO I GT2 style).
