Oops, my bad. I'm recommending running without an engine tray. Just know that it can allow a heat exchanger to droop a little, which, when backing down a steep driveway, makes it more likely it might catch on the pavement and rip off. At least that was my experience.

I left mine one because after reading some, not all of old posts:

1. it catches all the oil dripping out of leaky gaskets.
2. provides a home for garage critters when the car is not being driven.
3. costs $1000 to replace, if some **** buyer later demands one.
4. like people, a Porsche should have all its parts intact.
5. something about aerodynamics when going at speeds impossible to acheive in So Cal freeways without someone calling 911 for CHP.
6. so many people have it off, it's nice to be different.
7. hides the old pipes from view.
8. help support the economy -- the shop can charge me more $$ to service the car, having to take one extra part off the car.
9. draw negative attention to me on Rennlist by having it on.
10. where else to store the large piece of plastic?
