Yes - outside the Heim joint, that’s what I did. I reinstalled everything and while not as pretty and clean as yours - I believe the new clutch kinematic lever fixed my clutch release challenges.

When ever you have a retaining clip or a cotter pin on a shaft, you always place a flat washer under it.

That brake push pedal had fused onto the shaft in my 964. I spent several nights in my garage cursing the moon. Finally had to remove the front wheel, disconnect the push pedal from the other side, and pulled the whole assembly out, push pedal and all. I used a puller to get the push rod off the shaft, and the damn monoball popped off and stayed glued to the shaft. We had to cut the monoball to get it off, what a Nightmare.

I’m continually fooling myself that I actually like doing these projects. Rust, though, is where I draw the line.
