Default Show me your helmets!

Lets get a helmet thread going! I noticed some guys have great helmets. But any helmet will do!

Here's mine. Its an Arai. Its a motorcycle helmet but I use it for track. Arai's are one of the best for me. The 2nd one is a Suomy with the tricolore colors. A good helmet too!

I guess some of you will be out for the Thanksgiving weekend, so post them when you get back!

The Arai.

The Suomy

I thought motorcycle helmets weren't authorized for cars on the track? Not fire rated, IIRC??

Mine's just a plain white Bell but I don't get to use it like I should.

I can post a pic later, but it's just a phlat black Pyrotec with a gloss black Porsche logo placed like a stripe up the middle. Simple and good.

Cool thread
Here's mine, painted by my good friend ArtRotondo

Here's a helmet he just did for Conor Daly, paying tribute to Dan Wheldon, who was their first ever client.

Nice! How much does Artrotondo charge for a custom job?

Cool thread, here's three of my helmet that I have in US.
I have one more open face here and then 5 dirt bike helmets in Finland which are all custom painted (by me) but I don't have any photos of those.

By the way, there are many motorcycle helmets that are Snell rated so they're fine for track use with cars.

It varies from one helmet to another, best bet would be to contact Mauro directly

I like flips:

This photo is a bit poignant for me. In the DHL envelope next to the helmet, is the bill of sale for a Harley I had just arranged to buy for my brother in law in Holland. A few weeks later, he and my step sister died in the Air Afriqiyah crash at Tripoli.
