Thanks for the info, David.

BTW, I just stumbled onto an ad. on the GPMotors website in Tin Hau...and noticed this 94 White Cabriolet Tip. with blue interior & 18" 996 rims. Is this your previous car?

Here's the link to the ad - http://www.gpmotors.com.hk/stockdeta...php?car_id=792

Yes it is; although I'm not sure they actually have the car...the pics posted are my pics from over a year ago! I really miss that car

Hey David,

It's a great looking car! I'm not really a fan of cabriolet 993s but got to admit that there is something special looking about this one.

Can I ask you where or how you got the wood grain bit onto the steering wheel? Mine is beginning to crack white badly only at the 11 to 1 o'clock position and figured a solution would be to put on the wood grain on the area.

It's a factory wheel so came like that. You can recover your stock wheel, or swap for a 3-spoke wheel...lots of guys swap for a 996 factory or aftermarket 3 spoke (btw my TT has a Gemballa wheel - note that part of the leather was replaced with foam to increase grip)

Hi Alan, yes I remembered you. Too bad I missed the last FND event. Heard it was fun. we should do it sometime again with other rennlisters here.

So how is everyone doing! Any plans for a meet? I haven't been to a car meet since college days. Would be great to hang out with car lovers again!

Nope. Perhaps, we are waiting for the weather to cool slightly?

Last night, driving on the Eastern Corridor , I followed a dark-colored 964 with twin exhaust outlets and with license plate LW - - - - . Does it belong to any Rennlister here? I was driving a white 964 with red Carrera side stripes and waved at the driver.
