For futuristic FUCHS fans: windmill WHEELS 2010 & beyond
Fuchs "fan-blades" were first installed OEM on Porsches in the early '60s, & continued for decades.
Long-obsessed with updated 'Fuchs,' my 993 was lucky to score what my dealer reports as the factory's first Tequipment 2010 Sport Classics on any customer car.
After waiting years for anything >17" without circumferential bolts, I found nothing on the market 'til Porsche's. Already, there are many alternatives from other companies, & more to follow soon.
This thread's for consolidating all that might fit 993s, helping RLers interested in similar shoes.
...Starting with what I rounded up as 2008's closest options for eclou's "Modern Fuchs on ebay" thread...

There was a post a while back about a company that was making wheels that looked very much like Fuchs only they had modern sizes-can't seem to find it now-
Like Don P responded, they don't appear to be for 993s. Perhaps '69-86.
More info: Apr 07 RL thread, Fuchs Revisited.
FWIW, here's the HRE 311, but they may not work on 993/996/986 (RL post).
From Voegele:
From Otto Fuchs KG:
Dynamic-Speed.de:
See Dec '07 RL thread, "New Wheels from Essen Show."
And now, Wienkath's (the 993 'money shots' you may have been waiting for):
Hopefully helpful!

FuchsRacing.com's
Original goal was to have ['Fuchs'] before Monterey, CA's car week last year, Aug 2009.
During that time & continuing to now, I've especially appreciated RLer Edgy01's help & enthusiasm, even giving advice on other options when FuchsRacing didn't have production before last year's Monterey festivities. FuchsRacing.com's since contacted me directly, & I have every confidence they will have outstanding options for everyone by fall.
To be clear, Speedy's brand new wheels are Porsche OEM, featured on their limited edition 997/ 911 Sport Classic.
Dan (Edgy01)'s done a great job at promoting his friend's wheels, which went on sale this week.
A favorite response to one of Dan's threads:
How's the building going???

FuchsPerformance.com's
The fuchsRacing.com website's still online, but the new content's on their recently-unveiled fuchsPerformance.com.
Hopefully we'll see a certain RLer's paint-to-sample blue 997 cab on their web soon
Currently, their site only mentions 19 - 22" wheels.
Today on the 928 Forum, it was posted that Fuchs Performance will soon have 18" fitments (for at least 928s).

Otto Fuchs (fuchsFelge.de)
~Yesterday, Germany’s Otto Fuchs went from taking deposits to accepting orders on their website (no affiliation with these nor any others).

Just today, I notice that airKewld.com's advertising Iozzio's "18 inch Forged Billet Fuch Style Wheel."
From my experience, these could be the absolutely first 18" 'Fuchs' on the market.
However, as of this posting, iozzioWheels.com only mentions 17s

Porsche's factory Sport Classic wheels were perfect for me & my timing.
I'm thrilled with 'em & my dealer who pulled strings to get them so quickly for Speedy
What else is out there now for futuristic Fuchs?
Help others find what's perfect for them...

16s appear available, but may not clear 993 calipers, IIRC.
