Just ordered F&R Koni sports for my 993
Apparantly Koni is now making rear sport shocks for the 993, to go along with the front strut assemblies which have been available. Best of all they are on sale at Paragon. I just ordered the set of 4 for $913.50 shipped. These are the yellow adjustable sport shocks, not the FSD shocks discussed recently (and also on sale)
Rear 8241-1273LSPORT and 8241-1273RSPORT
Front 8741-1542LSPORT and 8741-1542RSPORT

My targa has a rear shock that's shot, makes driving the car loads of fun. It would be great to hear how soft to stiff the shocks can be set compared to the factory. If it can match the factory feel, then great.

I recently received an email from Jason at Paragon saying that the FSD shocks should arrive mid-February, and the price will be a little lower that the earlier web price. I've emailed Steve Weiner to talk about scheduled install. Woohoo!

The right height depends on the springs. I think, that the konis cannot be adjusted is not a problem. If they work with eibach or h&r lowering springs, you should be able to get the car about 1,5 inches lower than with the US suspension. I think, if you really want to be even lower than that, you should use a system designed specifically for this, i.e. fully adjustable coilovers with helper springs.

Are you sure the rears are fixed valving? I know a bunch of Koni Yellows rears you have to push in the shock piston all the way, then twist to adjust. They do not have the external adjuster.
