'Dubbed by some insiders as the “new 356”'
there’s little chance that the 356 and Boxster will clash because, according to one rumoured product plan, the next-generation Boxster and Cayman could be moved sharply upmarket.
In the wake of the 356 launch, Porsche would be able to make the 3.2 Boxster S that model’s entry-level car, priced at £40,000.

Caption contest!
Porsche put a lot of effort into choosing this moment to glamorize, down to drawing the driver's profile in the mirror.
Give him/ her something to say while awkwardly waiting in a dark wet tunnel, vulnerable to more than just weather.

...Why highlight this shot to potential buyers, where the roof looks very important?

Why do they call it a Boxster Spyder? Where is the Boxster Coupe?

Sadly & seriously, I haven't been on RL NEARLY as much as I'd like. I'm now joining some of the adult world & pursuing my advanced academic degree during night school / distance learning. I posted the above during a study break.
...A highly successful break that led to me finishing my first of 3 homework assignments for the weekend (a glamorous life, I know ).
Now that I'm deluded, thinking I'm ahead of my dreary study schedule, I'm back to see what else important's going on in the world ... of Rennlist!
Don't you have some project to progress on? We gotta see some pix when ya get rollin'.
Speaking of photos, how 'bout grabbing your camera, putting on your 'investigative reporter' hat & scooting to the LA Auto Show for the Spyder's debut?
How you likin' this Boxster??? Care to contribute a caption?

Buttery!
Canadian newspaper National Post's "Preview: 2011 Porsche Boxster Spyder" article

Inside, the test car’s cabin is positively luxurious. In the past, I have always thought Porsche interiors were not equal to the rest of the car. In this case, all the major surfaces are wrapped in buttery leather, the two-tone finish is strikingly elegant (I like the body-colour trim pieces as they help tie the car and cabin together), while the red fabric door pulls add a touch of retro to a thoroughly modern automobile.
