VOTE: Fister D Stage I, II, or III
I have been exploring the Fister D options and my mind says III but my gut says II.
If you were to purchase Fister D's, what route would you go?

Not sure if my vote counts, but I love my IIIs. They get me excited every time I drive. They are not for everyone , though. You have to like a little attention.

I have II's and I really want III's.
Darin: I listened to the clips and just love the III's. It's hard for me to tell how much louder/different the III's are from the II's. Could you try to describe the difference? Thanks buddy.

I vote for IIs only because that's what I have. And they aren't even on yet (thanks, D for the quick delivery!)
My emotional side said get the IIIs but my rational side said get the IIs.

Tom we need to hook up so I can hear the II's! What are you up to the next couple of weeks and are you coming to the Hershay Swap? Also I forget what's involved with the 2 different muffler types.

ron,
my car will be around this summer at the annual taj cruze fest (or whatever it's called) in dayton and P2O in july if you want to wait that long to hear them in person.

I'm guessing if I were to run the Stage 3s all the time I would need to be alot more careful running in and out of the neighborhood. If you live in an area where you won't be bothering your neighbor (or don't care) every time you take the car out and come home late at night I'd probably recommend the Stage 3s.
As far as the sound level in the car, the Stage 2s are really not that much different from the OEM. I'll bet the Stage 3s are very similar to the Stage 2s inside the cockpit.
Hope this helps

I currently have a Mille Miglia exhaust, which sounds pretty good, but always exploring options.
My Bronco exhaust sounds pretty mean with the custom headers with a Flowmaster exhaust. It gets more attention than my C4--not for the sound but for the looks.

I rode in Darin's car before I went with the Stage II. Albeit Stage III sound really racey and mean but for me it was a bit to loud. Stage II in my area is perfect. I already have neighbors come up to me saying I can hear you coming down the street. And that's with the Motorsound not the Stage II.

I am considering the stage II's, but I am also considering adding the 200 cell cats and I am concerned about the combined volume level. Any input on the increased noise level of this combo would be appreciated.
