Thanks once again all of you! Its truly been a journey.

Last night we finished all of our classes we elected to take. Learned a lot, some of the information just scared us even more!!

Gotta rely on insticts, I guess.

Day by day, we hope and pray all will be well!!

(just saw this thread)

Chris, congratulations!!

That is great news. Our first baby due in mid-July and is a boy as well.

You may want to wait for the Recaros until he's a little older. Although I still put one on our registry to make me feel good

Best of luck!

Ilko

Chris - the classes are totally worth it. Mine got totally...graphic...at one point. I'm sure they drummed into you the importance of breast feeding.

I've found that two of the most critical life skills are never taught in school. How to have a baby is one of them. The other is financial planning / buying a house.

See you Saturday!

Yes indeed!

You're entering into a job that there is no training for. Those classes probably help a little but there really is no preparation.

You'll learn day by day, just remember when the baby coughs a little or cries and you freak out, they're made out of rubber when they're small and that that little baby is most likely OK even though he's crying his lungs out!

So, does this mean I can train him to get at those #6 upper sparkplugs?

Wow! I also just read your story. That's the best news I have read on this site in the few months that I have been using it. I am not sure if I will ever have the opportunity of fatherhood at this stage in my life but I am really happy for you. I will pray for you, your wife and a healthy baby boy. Wishing you all the best. Glenn

Congratulations to you and Pam, Chris. What a wonderful outcome. This has been a real blessing to me as a brand new member to read this thread and see what the members of this forum are really about. I'll be praying for a safe delivery and a healthy new member of your family.

Chris, I would like to make this heart felt CONGRATULATIONS public as I have already said that in person. I am a strong believer of "what goes around comes around in life", your good blessings comes as you have deposited countless good deeds to others. I think this is just a little dividend payout to you for your love and care to others.

For the records, after having his baby shower on Saturday and plans for Mothers Day Sunday next.
Chris (and Robin) made a house call an hour away Sunday morning to my house to tidy up some loose ends, after a MAJOR service was performed on my car by them !

Chris and Robin.....you guys are the BEST!

Don't want to hijack this thread, I will post another thread telling what these gentlemen have done to my car !

Chris and Pam, all the best wishes life can bring !

Dan
