Default Best clear corners? i know this is probably a repost...

i ran a search and didnt see whether anyone had any problems with ebay clear corners leaking water or anything like that. i'm not looking for cut ones, i'm looking for euro length. the 3 sources i have are

better bodies motorsport, ebay, and automotion
http://www.automotion.com/product.as...dept%5Fid=4725

id like input from someone who's had or heard anything about any of these. THANKS!

Robby

p.s. i know my membership expired havent been on the board since my porsche has been off the road for winter so i havent renewed yet lol

Default I got mine (cut) from betterbodies and they were fantastic

I guess the uncut ones would be even better. Customer service was also good.

I have cut ones from Better Bodies. They're perfect.

I bought my set from Better Bodies too.
Nice fit and they glued a plastic trim piece on the end instead of a bead of silicone.

Automotions have the glued on end, as well. It's just a factory corner, cut & pasted. The end piece on one of mine fell off, but I just covered the end. I went to euro bumpers, so I have those sitting in My garage. Pm if interested.

From Sunset you can't get ones cut to use with bumperettes. The full length ones from Sunset are half the price if you want to either cut them yourself or get rd of bumperettes, though.

I purchased mine from Sunset also, they're OEM and half the price of the cut ones. It's not a big deal to cut them down yourself if you need to.

Default clear corners

While we're on this topic, is it possible to install clear corners, including removal of the bumperettes, without having to do do body work to the bumper? I haven't been able to figure this out from previous threads.

To answer Rinty's question: Yes - you will just have small cutout gaps above the clear corners where the bumperettes used to be. For a track car it's meaningless. For a street car, it depends on your cosmetic expectations.

For Robby, OEM part # clear corners:
993.631.061.01
993.631.061.00

Sunset sells out of state for wholesale + 20% + shipping.
