I am interested in your Porsche, it seems a lovely car. I used to have a 1987 Cabrio and am missing it, was hoping to get my hands on a 993 this time.

Thanks for your detailed posting, it already explains most of what I need to know. A few more questions I have are these:

- Was the previous owner of the car the first one (making you the second)?

- Do you have some more information about the engine rebuild? I am familiar with the problems of the US version of the 993 that necessitate a top-end rebuild around 80 - 100k miles or so. But considering your rebuild cost $15k, it seems there was more involved than just that? Any information would help.

- Is it just the motor of the top that needs replacing, or other things as well? Is the top itself in good shape?

-Are you aware of anything the car currently needs (e.g. tires, exhaust, etc)? Has it had any accidents, apart from the fender bender you describe?
