Default Any interest in a mid rise lift Group Buy...Latest Update! See last post...

My wife insisted that I buy the lift...and no, she does not have a sister!

So are there any good negotiators who can get a group buy on the Bend Pak or the Gregg Smith?

Merry Christmas!

Bruce, Merry Christmas to you! Not a surprise that you have one of a kind. Hope all is well over on the usually wetside... I might be interested.

When I bought mine It was just under 1500 shipped. Best money I have ever spent. Even if yoiu guys don't get a group price, buy it anyway as its the best garage tool you could have and much safer than jack stands.

Gasser: Which lift did you buy?

Craig: Over in Chelan for the week...not much different weather as we left the same temp and snow in Seattle. What global warming? !

https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...-question.html

Lets see if we can get a few folks serious and I will make some calls on Friday or Monday to see what the distributors might offer as a break in price. It might be 5 or 10...who knows!

Cheers All!

Call. I may be interested as I seem to need to work on my track cars more than I'll have a chance to race any of them in the near future.

I bought the Bend pac scissor lift. Awsome for home use. Nothing to setup as well. Just be sure to put a steel plate on the floor to protect the concrete from scoring. I wish I could tell you where I got it but it was a company recomended here. Do a search for that lift and you will get much info...

Hi Bruce: I am interested in the Bend Pack or the Gregg Smith lift. The Bend Pack lift seems to be favored but seems like can't go wrong with any of them.

I called Greg Smith Equipment a couple weeks ago for just 1 and said they would do $1295+300 shipping to Seattle WA so total is 1595.00.

If there is a group buy please count me in.

A pole should be done with the models and links to the manufactures web sites or Rennlists' posts. Just a thought.

Hmmm...Gregg Smith Equipment offered $1,295 at a quantity three or more. That sounds a lot like your (SR71Blackbird) deal at quantity one...I will have to call back.

We might be able to save a little by shipping two to the same teminal and picking them up there vs shipping to a residence.

Looks like Bend Pac limits the pricing floor for the lifts. The fellow there is going to call back and see if he can do anything. Right now they are at $1,855 shipped to a business with a dock. It is $40 more for residence.

I also will think about cross posting to other forums to up the quantity if it will help.

Cheers!

Hi Bruce: Thanks for making the calls. I can't remember name of the person I talked but he did say that they were not paid on commission when I asked for his name. I think for quantity of 1 I had beaten all the discount that I could get out of him . :-(

I think a good price would be about 1200.00 for quantity three or more. :-) (wishful thinking)

Us WA/Seattle/Woodinville guys could probably ship to 1 location and we could pickup with my 1 ton Econoline and deliver each of our homes or we have the option of sending them to my Warehouse which has a loading dock. - What ever saves us some funds. :-)

Scott
