Four German + one Japanese: Passat 1.8T and Tundra SR5 4x4 do the DD in foul weather ..... 993/928/535i share the sun.
Why the sole exception? .... Germans can't make a truck worth a flip

My daily driver is a 2003 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro; great car for a 72 mile commute each way. And it is a Tip; am planning ahead for use by family members that can't shift a 6 speed.

David

My main DD is a 05 Nissan Frontier 4x4 Nismo crew cab, or sometimes a 02 Toyota Sequoia (which is really the wife's ride). I got ants in my pants waiting for the restoration of the 68 Datsun 2000 to be completed, so I went out and bought something completely different last week (KTM 690 SMC)

My daily driver is a 2003 VW GTI 1.8T with Tiptronic. My wife doesn't know
how to drive a stick and occasionally we have to swap. The GTI was
engineered in Germany but was assembled in Brazil. I therefore answered
"other" to the poll.
