I searched for days(months!) on this website and got tired of reading different opinions on the subject. ROW M030, HDs+M030, Pss10s, or H&Rs....etc... Too soft... Too Firm.... Blah Blah Blah...
At the end I was frustrated and blew a gasket. I bought the pss10s because they were ADJUSTABLE. That's the key. You can't go wrong. The car will never be too high or too low, or too soft or too firm. It will be just the way you like it!!!!!

So, in conclusion: if you have the money: get the Pss10s!

just in case you didn't notice, there are lots of adjustable choices. Lots of variation in whats adjustable too.

the gamut of least adjustable to most goes something like this(coincidentaly the cost increases in the same manner)
stock, including M030

fully threaded Bilstein HD w/ the springs of your choice adds height adjustability

PSS9/Pss10 adds shock compression and rebound adjustment

JIC adds monoball top mounts and wider finer control of compression and rebound adjustment

Moton adds wider and finer control of rebound and compression w/ separate adjustment for each and btter heat control

I have been back and forth between RoW M030, PSS9/10s, JIC Cross, and Motons. In the end I decided that I would go with M030 turbo springs and Bilstein HDs. I already have M030 sways as part of my stock US M030 suspension. I figured I want to be the fast guy on the track rolling on relatively low buck stock equipment rather than the slow guy on some zowie high dollar adjustable setup that he/she has no idea to adjust for the track. Simple goal I think.

Smart man. I do suggest you reconsider your spring choice though. I was sold the turbo springs by mistake for my cab (didn't find out until they were on the car ) and found them to be too stiff for DD duty...and that's on a cab which is ~100+ lbs heavier than your C2.

I have a high threshold for suspension discomfort. My wife's '08 R32 is stiffer than my US M030 shod 993 (or at least feels that way) but it is not too bad and very tolerable to us. I bought the springs on an ebay auction and learned that they were turbo rears by the color markings. I find this a benefit as I will be able to dial out some factory understeer without redoing sways. As far as DD to work duty, not worried as if it is too bad I'll pimp the plush Treg and reserve the 993 for track duty only.

I don't think a C4S will need new drop links. Other experts here can correct me if I'm wrong.

The Bilstein HD shocks that Gert Carnewal sells are threaded so the ride height can go as low as approximately RS height. They work with M030 ROW.
