I am just happy to be part of this community, so I didnt mean any harm with my comments... this will be my last post on the subject...

it just seemed to me that this was not a case of bragging, trolling, or otherwise being deviant.... more like an uninformed (no offense to the poster) person newer to these cars that stepped into a big bear trap... he also sounded very excited, and i am think that it is cool to at least be civil when raining on a parade (Mark, you may remember - this is what happened on the logo thread).

Anyway, I am sure that I am guilty of doing this at times too, certainly not perfect in this regard at all...

Very nice, but could we see some images of it on a 3.6 late model engine? As one working in the composite world myself, I would venture to guess this to be at least $2k.

Looks as though it wouldnt fit under the engine cover or cowl, but it must if this is what the OP is talking about.

Details are few and far between at this point.

Here is a link to a pic of the one they were hawking on the 996 forum a month or so ago. It's just the "T" that sits between the throttle body and the intake manifolds.

The Varioram on our cars that have it is essentially the "plenum" that the original poster must be speaking of ?? Maybe his wrench made him a psuedo varioram?

Cool, that's some seriously sexy stuff. We're all hoping to see some before & after dyno runs, if this is what the OP was referring to. My concerns would be:

1. Cost.
2. Low end torque (you lose the resonance induction setup)

To second what Chris Walrod said, can we see that on a 3.6? And see some before-and-after dyno runs?

i believe i have an early auto authority chip-100 cells ,motor sound and mufflers-and being i have had the car since 96 ( its a 95)I can tell you I feel the difference in every way- also remember if 12 to 20 hp gain was nothing-why do porsche and everyone else do those gains every year, if it makes no difference-I know from experience,
every little bit can be felt -if you know how to drive and know your car- it's simple enough-and does not involve being a f1 driver

Lets try to be a little open minded. Things pop up, from time to time.

I would like to see some pics of it.
