Looks similar, but it lacks the Carnuba Wax of the Pro Honda stuff.

As far as shipping goes these kind of aerosol products are classified as highly flammable and post 911 can not be shipped by air. However I ship them all time time by ocean. The problem with trying to ship a few cases is that there are normally min. charges. The paperwork alone requires all kinds of complicated forms be filled out.
What I would suggest you do is contact a few local frieght forwarders, explain that you're trying to get a case of consumer product aerosols by ocean - they might do you a favor and consolidate your shipment with a container of similar products on board. It probably won't be cheap. I'd strongly encourage you not to do the "hairspray" thing ...if something went wrong you could end up in huge legal trouble.

If you have no luck I'd be happy to talk to my forwarder here in Boston and see what he recommends.

If you guys love this stuff this much maybe I should figure out how to what it is and make it under my own label. I've got to get some myself.

Matt, I appreciate your input. It just seems to be difficult for me to get this stuff across the pond. If you have someone you can contact about this I would be very greatful. Sitting over here it's not easy to find anything out 1.because of time differences and 2. because I have no idea who to talk to because I don't know how your shipping system works. Any other ideas appreciated.. Geez I never thought it would be so much trouble... TIA

Viggo can you send me a link to the Material Safety Data Sheet for this stuff....that lists all the proper shipping descriptions...I'll get in touch with our forwarder this week and see what he says. Shipping haz mat's is insanely complicated I'm afraid. Why don't they carry this stuff across the pond anyway?

Finally found it:

http://www.classicchemical.com/clean...ish%20msds.pdf

It's for the AMREP and the HONDA stuff.. So it's basically the same thing so the sheet works for both.. I tried to look around over here but it seems unobtainable.. Matt I really appreciate you looking into this. Keep me posted on what they say

So you say it's the same, except for the carnauba in the Pro Honda product?

That's what it says on the label. The Amrep has no carnuba, the Honda does. I tested both and I believe that to be the case.

Bump for an awesome old thread!

The Honda Spray is back!!!!:

http://www.tiltedhorizons.com/2007/0...back-sort.html

Awesome news! Original Honda Spray in a new container (different label).

I've used this product now for a while and I can really vouch for this spray. It does wonders! Perfect for that extra 5% after a wash to get a really nice glossy finish. Or when there is a little bit of dust on the car and you want to make it shine again. Works on paint, windshield, wheels - You name it!

No affil.

Dude, the article (blog, actually) is almost 3 years old.
Anyway, thanks for the info...I sure love the stuff.
Does the Motorcycle Stuff contain carnauba as the Honda did?

Now, I'll ad to the confusion. Here's a newer article from last year...http://www.roadcarvin.com/gifts/pro-...cleaner-polish

Ok, I searched around and went straight to the Amrep site. This is it...http://www.originalbikespirits.com/p...s.aspx?pid=667

Ironic, the only place to get it in Portland is Beaverton HONDA.

Dang, sorry about that. Didn't realize. Well, I googled Motorcycle Stuff Spray Cleaner & Polish + buy and it didn't turn up anything.. I guess Amrep is the way to go. However, judging from peoples experiances the original Honda Formulae seems way superior.

Luckily, I bought 2 cases back in the days when this thread was started so I should be okay for another couple of years. I was just looking to spead the word as quite a few people over here in Sweden has been asking for this very product as they have seen the "showroom" finish I get on my car after 15mins of work

Do you know if the original Honda stuff is still available?

Just checked Honda Australia and it's certainly available here...
Having just "jetsealed" and waxed the car yesterday, I might visit my local Honda dealer tomorrow and pick up a can or two...
