Finally...The Best Way to Keep your 993 Looking Incredble

Also, I've been using the Honda thing for about a decade. I first found it when NOTHING else would clean the first Honda turbo jet ski. The mechanic at the Honda shop used it for everything. I'm guessing he'd spread it on a bagel if they ran out of cream cheese.
That stuff just sprays on (sparingly) and takes off hard water, salt spots, tire marks, brake dust ... you name it.) I've used it on motorcycles, snowmobiles ... again, you name it.) I still don't use it on the cars, but I use it on wheels. It seems that once you "seal" the surface of a wheel with this stuff, cleaning is a lot easier and brake dust doesn't "eat" into the clearcoat.

Anyone ever tried Flitz? Doesn't clean at all, certainly not like you guys say this Honda stuff does, but I have found it to be the best quick wax around. Use it on the glass, paint, black rubber......

The wax layer with the Honda spray is very thin and not very durable. What the Honda spray is really is a quick detailer in a can. I mean it's that last 5-10% of the detailing job, to get that super high gloss "showroom" finish. You need to use an orbital polisher (Porter Cable or alike) with good compounts plus a good wax sealant as a base. The Honda stuff is just to top things off, or as you say, between waxes. It's a good way of retaining a good layer of wax on the car.

So stopped by the local Honda dealer and picked up what they said was the closest thing to the Honda Polish called original. Not too impressed. Shine was similar to that of the Prolong detailer spray I use but was harder to polish up. Youguys that have bought the honda direct product, is it good?
Also, I bought a 993 that has some swirl marks. I will be doing the PC7424 process in the near future, but until then, any recommendations on a wax to use in the mean time?

Wow! Seven pages of threads based on a spray detailer. Interesting bunch of folks, we are. Even funnier that I actually sifted though each page. ![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

As my post in page 6, this is the stuff. Not Honda. Amrep made it with the Honda label in the past.
