as I said in the previous post.. tires were $713 delivered from Tire Rack they sent them straight to Perfect Performance in Roswell GA who charged me under $80 to mount, balance and speed balance on car and they did a great job they rock. (they also deflated and restowed the gimpy NEMO red spare 16incher )

Wow, that was a smokin' deal! Somebody likes you!

Beautiful car, my second most favorite color. What are your impressions of the tire so far?

sweet... I need three sets of tires. Two street and one track. I think the HTR ZIII will go on at least one of the street sets. I've been looking at the Fuzion ZRi too.. anyone try those for street, canyon strafing?

The Proxes T1R's on my CLK at totally shagged (300 ft/lb of torque at 3000 RPM will raise havoc with tires) and will have to be done first. The Pcar needs something besides the Pilot Cups.. at least up here in EFFING SNOWS VILLE!!!

Ride is great.. I have only put a 150 miles on them AND ..Hell... it has been 6+ weeks since I drove the car (the debacle of the demise of the left rear wheel which caused this "investment" but tires feel great.. solid through corners and it feels like a C4S should.. like it is running on rails..

I like the tread pattern too and the price.. cannot beat it. I paid more in 1996 for Pirellis...

what size is recmended for a 95 c2 (non-s) with the turbo twist 18's (not sure if they are true hollow spokes)

My father is trying to order some for his 95 and was looking at the 275 option for rear but the guy at tire rack said they "grow" in circumference when driving on that 275 size, and he recomended a 295. Will that fit the stock 18" rear without issues or should it be a 285.

Everything I've seen has suggested 295 for S models

EDIT: Nevermind, he was confused on what they told him. Getting old is hell, isn't it

I'm just mad at all the guys on RL who recommended the HTR ZII (before the III's were available).

I love the ones on my car. Rears only. No problems!

You guys have pushed me over the edge. I have new Kuhmo MXs at the rears (only 2K old) but have worn-out fronts. So based on all this love, I decided to pick up a pair of these for the front, and will, of course, follow with a pair at the rear when those go. Less dough than the Kumho MXs (which I liked so much I've had numerous sets over the years), but was lured into the Sumi IIIs by the price, wear ratings, and most of all your collective feedback. Hope it pans out!

BTW, I ordered mine from a local dealer that matched TR's base price ...may as well throw some business to a local shop.

Okay, lots and lots of driving this week. almost 1000 miles since I put them on, including some very high speed runs and great on and off ramp fun. Still loving these tires!!!!

Ok-doaky...... I got the tires mounted this AM, bled the brakes (well - why not - while I was "in there" ) - and took it for a "fun run" this afternoon... With my car at Euro-spec height (NB '95 993 C4 w/Bilstein HDs) - the 285/30s are a "squeeze fit" (yikers!!!) BUT THEY FIT FINE!!

After 100 miles or so - I like them better then the Dunlops, Michelins and Toyos I ran for sneakers previously..

HTH!!

Good to know John. Do you have pictures?

I'm getting these next week and thinking of going with the 285's instead of the 265's, but since my car is low, I was concerned with rubbing.
