Eh, do you really need portability of a lift like that? You can get a better lift for half that price, it just wont fit in your trunk haha.

Very clever. Priced 50% high.
EZcarlift™ is proudly made in the USA.
Whelp, that explains it.

Lifts only 26"...I am looking for 48" for mine.

$2300 and no power...you use a drill. Now if it was $800 I might be interested. Cannot beat the Gregg Smith scissors lift.

Ciao

yeah, powered with a drill for over $2k is way too high. I just wondered if anyone had ever seen one or used one. it seems like a neat idea, because it can be stored away so easily. (I have a very small garage). It was the first time I had ever heard of it. Im sure there will be knock-offs coming down the road, variants on the same theme for cheaper.
What kinda clearance would you need to drop the motor?

It does have some redeeming features.

1) It has a wide base, both side-to-side and lengthwise. Sure looks more stable than the other mid-rise lifts I've seen.

2) It has more wheels/load points on the ground to distribute the load. Some garage floors, even though they are a 6" slab, are not made from structural concrete and will not stand the load for long before cracking. One needs a steel plate on the floor under the wheels on the other lifts to prevent this.

3) Its 4" high which makes it easier to drive over without (or using thin) ramps. Thats an issue for low cars.

4) Its easy to store which is nice for those with limited room in the garage.

"Horses for Courses" as they say and although not cheap, it fills a need in a unique market. I too, wish it was less expensive since they would sell a lot more of them if they were competitively priced given that it doesn't have a power pack.

I totally dig it, & wanted it, until I saw the price! By the time you option it, you are at the price of a installed 2 post real lift.

But for a track junkie, or some one who has no room, na, it's still to much $$. If it was under $1g, then I'd get one. My 2 LTW race jacks work fine for just about everything, just takes more time. But if my midsection keeps getting more verbose, I might need one of these to get under the car.

I agree completely, other than $$ what a cool tool for the track almost as good as having built in hydraulic jacks on the car! Those scissor lifts usually look terribly under sized (width mainly) for what they can lift.....I wouldn't get under a car on one.

BTW Steve.......what happened to #2?

For what it is you would think that it should be about $1500.

yeah, nice find! I would get one too if it was not that expensive. The portability factor makes it very attractive but in reality the cost is just too high to justify the expense... I have 2 race jacks that lift my car completely in seconds both sides and make a tire change a breeze. too bad really...
