Group buy sounds very interesting. anybody ask the dealer if they are willing to sponsor one?

Does it REALLY turn off our check engine lights (for the usual 100 miles or so when we have the SAI code)? Does is show the correct SAI codes for our cars as well as all the correct codes? This would be great following the Check Valve and Port cleaning job in case the darn light comes on again after a long time -- hopefully one could tell if the SAI problem had re-emerged. How about that group buy?

Here are some pictures of my "installation"
Yes, I know the pictures are horrible representation of the product (not to mention blurry), but all I could since I took the photos at night, outdoors.
Hope this gives everyone an idea of what it looks like "installed". I have simply rested the unit in the nook between the top of the center console and the ashtray. The extra wire is coiled-up behind the ashtray. Doesn't really move when driving since it sits on carpet and it is light enough for the cable to keep it in place.
And yes, it does read (generic OBDII) and reset the codes and I assume it turns off the check-engine light but I cannot confirm this since mine has been disabled. Bonus is that I have used it on friends cars to turn off their check-engine light as well.
Also, I believe someone asked about compatibility with the OBDI cars that have the OBDII port. During a recent p-car gathering, we tried the unit in a '95 cab and there was no communication. This is not definative, but leads me to believe it will not work...

Hi All,
Was wondering what people are seeing as TPS number at wide open throttle ? mine says 0 at idle and 82 at WOT. So do I need to adjust my throttle cable ??

I'm confused, does this scanner do everything that this other highly recommended scanner does (see below)?
For PC interface I use http://www.obd-2.com/ for all my cars.
