Timecapsule car that was drive once a month, less than 4000 miles in the last 6 years. Huge maintenance history for day-to-day stuff, no accidents or service breakdowns. A bit of a price premium for a base car, but (and I know everyone says this but in this case it's true) this is the finest 993 in terms of quality that I've ever seen. Original wheels, stereo, mats, all manuals, etc. Better paint touch-ups and it would be a legit concours car.

I have just purchased a 1996 C2 coupe (polar silver/navy) for $53,000. It is a one owner car with 4300 original miles. It has no paint work and no flaws. Options include LSD/ABD, power seat package, CDR 210 radio, 18" wheels, aluminum shifter/brake, stainless sill trim, oval exhaust tips, mats, all books, tools, window sticker, records, etc. The car is really brand new. Did I pay too much?

You are far better off paying more for a correct car, than getting one that is ultra-cheap and then finding a lot of unwanted surprises. As someone just put it to me last week, "I guess I got what I paid for". I can accept the low price-high mileage scenario, but no repaints, accident damage, etc.
