Default How many Nashville or Middle Tennessee Rennlisters are there?

We really should try to get more of us together more often. There might be some of us out there that lurk here quite often, but usually read rather than post. (which is fine, great place to learn).

So if you're here and from the Middle Tennessee area, speak up! I would love to get some drives and other things together, especially with other 993'ers. Don't see that many around here.

Robert

I think I remember another thread for us about 4 months ago. I'm on the east side of Nashville.

Edit: OK, did a search and can't find it. Must have been one of the other forums I monitor. A mind is a terrible thing to lose.

My good friend Glen aka "Tennessee Turbo" is in Nashville and is a very avid DE'er. He is one of the nicest people I know and just loves all-things cars, especially Porsches. He mostly hangs out on the racing board.

HAHA! LOL!! That was funny, Bill. So we're up to three counting Glen. I know there are others, but I'll let them chime in on their own.

Thanks for letting us know about Glen, Mark. I think with the relative rarity of 993's in general and even more so in Nashville, I may try to do more of these on other boards to find a group of guys that would like to get together. I need to find someone with a Cayenne TT as well. I have been thinking about one lately and want to get opinions on that too.

We had the Musik Stadt PCA Club meeting last night, smallish group due to weather I believe.

Rick (RJ777 ?) also has a 993 Cab and a 968. He'll chime in later I bet.

Edit: OK, found the thread I was thinking of. It was on Pelican so it wouldn't have applied to your Renlister request but I linked it anyhow.

I'm sure you already counted me in your mind Robert, but I'll speak up as well. I've enjoyed the couple of drives we've gotten to take and am ready for more as the weather gets nicer.

Bill- I believe you were my student out at the Nashville Superspeedway at one of the Phil Wick's events in your 968. I don't believe you had the 993 yet, so congrats on your purchase!

Yessir, Brendan. That was me, and I did a DE in Memphis a couple months later. Patrick Long has nothing to fear from me! It was a pleasure riding/learning from you but it would be nice to do it again on a better track.

Hope to meet up with you again sometime.

Hey this is great.

I do not live in nashville but at the moment I am in Nashville. I travel here for business once a month. I live in the eastern corner of the state.

I have been wating for the weather to get better and then post an invitation for all RL's in the area to take a trip to the Dragon. Maybe in April.

I would love to go to the Dragon. Probably spent more time in my life listening to people talk about it than it would actually take to go there.

Is it too early to post something to get everyone's calendar's out. I'm just guessing there are some busy work and life schedules.

April 14th sounds great to me

If you go to the Dragon make sure you do the Cherohala Skyway too, a much nicer ride in our cars IMHO. It's #3 on the list.

Hello all! Can someone from Indiana crash your dragon party? I know I am not near TN. But I love running the dragon. I usally ride down once a year on the K12 but would love to get the p-car down there. Gotta get a dragon stamp on the p-car
