Hi Robert,
I'm here, too. We met a few years ago when you were driving your beautiful Guards Red 993 with the HRE wheels.
I am definitely interested in participating in any events you might be organizing in the coming year, so keep me in the loop.
I hope all is well. I can't wait to see your 993TT.
Best regards,
- rick

Well, we're getting some responses. That's great!!
Everyone, I took the TT to the dragon last October and it was UNBELIEVABLE!! Jason is right, it is mostly bikes, but everyone is very respectful of everyone else up there. I only had one bike pass me, and it was a dirtbike racer!! LOL! I actually had to stop twice in one run because I kept catching a cruiser on his Harley-ish Honda.
I also purchased a video camera mount and filmed the run from the top of my car, side of my car and facing backwards. I filmed three runs total. Very, very cool footage, except for the fact that you can't hear the engine due to wind noise. Oh well, I never said I was a professional videographer!
Anyway, we should get a group of guys to go up there. I was supposed to meet a fellow Porschephile there. We both drove from Nashville and never found each other because his stinkin' NexTel phone wouldn't work up in the Dragon. Maybe he should get Verizon!
We'll plan it when it gets nice.

Lets get together a 993 lunch meet in either Brentwood or Nashville. We need a location with a big open parking lot. Friday looks like a good day. Weather should be around 60.
I know Brendan and Cary from my days autoxing my M3 and MR2. It would be great to see them again and also others from Rennlist.

Hey guys,
In addition to the great ideas above of a lunch meeting, and a trip to the Dragon, I would like to suggest that we consider organizing a possible Saturday morning get-together at an area Starbucks where we could all meet, talk, check out each others' cars, and then maybe go for a short drive somewhere.
Due to possible inclement weather this weekend, it obviously doesn't have to be this Saturday, but it could be any upcoming Saturday in March, April, or May.
This type of weekend morning meet & greet (with the option of a drive afterwards) would be similar to what some of the other groups do around the country as often described here on the Rennlist 993 forum.
Best regards,
- rick

I'm game for any and all of the above suggestions. Someone throw one out and unless I'm at work, I'll be there.
Jeremy- I didn't realize that was you or that you had finally purchased a 993. I'm glad you finally got one! Hope to see you soon.

I suggest either a Saturday morning meeting at the Starbucks in Brentwood on Franklin Road near REI or a Friday luncheon in Brentwood around 11:30. I can't think of a restaurant in Brentwood or Nashville with a big open parking lot but I know there has a to be a suitable destination out there.

Thanks Cary. I look forward to seeing you guys again. Actually this is my third 911 in the last 2 years. Here are some pics.
How does 10:00 am at Starbucks on Franklin Road in Brentwood work for everyone?
