But I should talk. Before I became a full-time architect, I was a tax manager at Arthur Andersen & Co (5.5 years) specializing in property tax, tax credits and depreciation.
Now if you think that is a weird switch (CPA to architect), before AA&Co, I was a civil engineer designing nuclear structures (7 years).
Things we have to do just for the dough.

Before becoming a realtor five years ago I was a CEO of a small manufacturing company for 20 years making robotics that struggled more than it should.
I'll refer anyone looking out in that area. I have a friend, a photographer, in Palo Alto who may be looking soon.

Everyone - does that sound like a good idea?
I have attached the link for the application below. I guess we should ask John D. to make the application rather than one of us.

I already sent John D. the LindedIn group link a couple days ago. He said he'll look into it. As for now, for us on LinkedIn, or planning to join, in your hobbies/interests area, type in "Rennlist", then, when someone does a search, your profile will show up. It's the only way I can think of doing this through LinkedIn without having the "group" account set-up.
The account is actually free, unless we add it to LinkedIn's directory...

Hi Jeff,
Good job! I think the free group is a great idea and if it is not publicised in their directory that may be an advantage; keep it low key... ;-)
I'll add Rennlist as a hobby for now.
Cheers,
David

Great thread!
I am a sales guy in wholesale electrical distribution. I cover utilities and the industrial/commercial areas. I also run a few rental homes in the Seattle area on my own time.
I used to chase dot-coms selling Sun, Oracle and Veritas "back in the day"
Before that I designed manufacturing facilities and systems for advanced aerospace composites.
Wo Ho!
