Unless those crafty Germans have found a way to cheat the laws of physics, being that modestly powered with such a small (circumference) driver and that flat (short throw) it really ought to be called a "mid-bass woofer" as you won't get much subsonic information out if it, but depending on how low your main speakers go it may augment nicely. Most likely produces an 80-120 Hz hump.

Really good main speakers and a good amp and h/u might yield betters results overall. But for $235 what have you got lose ( $235).

I think so. My friend (CEO) runs a car audio shop that is owned by Blaupunkt, and this is what he told me. I need to find the pdf on that though.

good, I need to be set straight, has my gt3 only has 2 pink marks on the amp, which I think would make it less than a race amp?....yet the CEO of Porsche opted to put it in what is supposed to be a race car for the street????

Thanks pcar964 – I guess I was being a bit sensitive… but it was my first attempt to add some value here after “lurking” for so long.

I do love this board, the information and the “banter”… Just didn’t know I would be brought right into the fold of the locals so quickly.
