That truly was a great time. Thanks to everyone for making it the perfect fall outing. Wish I had more time to talk to everyone. So many nice cars, great stories and new friends. Looking forward to next years event.
What do you have in mind for the spring, Arrwin?
Question: What happens when some kid barrows his dad's Audi S6 and has his drinking buddies in the car?
Answer: They cut you off and then lean out the window and puke all over your car 4 times at 80 MPH. 87 was a blast driving home.
Nice meeting everyone and keep the pictures coming. Great stuff!!

yeah, we got "lost" too, i think there were 3 groups. ours stayed on the palisades all the way to rte 6 west, but as we were coming down the hill towards 17 west i saw a big group approaching the toll plaza at exit 16 n.y.thruway, and we shortly met up on rte. 17 west. i guess it took us the same amount of time to that point as the guys that took the thruway up. pretty cool! my son went with the thruway gang and although he said the speeds were pretty good i still beat him to that point! can't let the kids beat ya, at least not yet!

It was great meeting everyone and driving through the back roads of NY, (even if we had to follow a CRV at 30 mph for 5 miles)
.....Here are a few pics from today, if others have pics, please post em.
Big Thanks to ARRWIN for organizing this event today!

I was going south on the pailisades this morning at 8:30 on my way to work and saw you guys going north. (I was in my new to me 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport not my 944). It looked awsome seeing all those sweet cars driving down the highway. I hope you all had fun.

Wow! My wife and I had a blast. It was well worth getting up in the early AM to meet everyone... What a great ride. This was truly the first time I have had too much fun in my 993... the whole experience was made by seeing and being with so many P-cars. What a sight.
Very special thanks to Arrwin for his hard work to make this possible...

Had a great time seeing some familiar faces and meeting some new ones as well.
All in all a great run with perfect weather and awesome scenery. Great job with the organization Arrwin and Bob for the mapping of the route.
Sorry to hear about the targa's troubles, but it did give some of us a chance to hang out briefly and get some warm mulled cider and a donut!![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
See you all soon...and let's not wait until the Spring to do this again!
BTW...a silver Carrera GT lost control on 9W in NJ this afternoon and ended up in the woods. I got a lot of calls asking if he was with us and being that he wasn't I'm curious if anyone else heard about it? I have a cell phone pic from another site but no more info than that...

Echoing the sentiments of many, a great and pleasurable time was had by all, thanks to the hard work of arrwin and bob. coffee and refreshments provided as well at 7h30am. what more can one ask for? nice to meet new people who want to enthuse about old subjects (porsch-ism, the disease
) as well as just get out and drive.
some pics to follow, but be mindful of the fact that i was on triple duty (driver/navigator/photographer) and the fact that there were too many distractions (from early longhoods to SC's and 930 turbo's to 964's and 944's and on and on ...)
Well, lets start it off LeMans style with the driver racing for the car upon being given his starting orders
Karl.
