Looks like Bob's garage in FL as well. No matter where this dude is he is always helping Porsche guys out. I think you need to be back in NorCal too. I never heard him say 1 bad thing about it.

Welcome to Seattle, Bob!

Skiing at Crystal and Baker, boating on Puget Sound/Lake Washington/Lake Chelan. And all those Micro$ofties with cars and money burning a hole in their wallet!

So when are you moving out here?

1. Snowbird, Alta, Brighton, Solitude, Park City, Canyons, Deer Valley-all 30 minutes from SLC. (as little as 12 minutes on the east benches of SLC-where I live)
2. Ski in the morning, boat in the afternoon-last year (2005) Snowbird was open until July 4th.
3. Lake Powell-4 1/2 hours.
4. Vegas-5 hours
5. Yellowstone-4 hours
6. Jacksonhole, Telluride-3 1/2-4hrs.
7. Jetskiing-lots of Lakes and resivours around.
**I just sold my Seadoo HX on Sunday
8. Miller Motorsports Park-brand new

As far as "lots of Porches"-dont belive there a ton here but there around.

Utah is a little different place than CA or FL but its one that I grown to like. Regardless where you land, you have to make the best of where your at.

Wow lots of ideas and great folks around the country. This is going to be a tough one. One thing though, I was always wondering why Adam couldn't keep his hands off of Tom... Hmmmm.

Bob,

I saw this post and as I was talking to you about the time it all happened I wanted to wait till you responded..... All the best from us Down Under!

NOW....

All these people - trying to get you to move close to them..... Cmon! What you need is to live down here.....in Sydney!!

1. Plenty of Cars.
2. No real competition.
3. It is ALWAYS summer here!! (if you are coming from Nor Cal)
4. Snow is just 4- 5 hours away.
5. Sydney Harbour
6. Sydney Beaches
7. Sydney BABES!!
8. Eastern Creek Raceway, Oran Park - less than 45 mins....
9. Phillip Island, Winton and Calder Park - a day away.
10. We drive on the RIGHT side of the road!

All kidding aside - My thoughts are with you. It will pass - As hard as it seems!

Best,

Simon.

Bob,
Been there... done that. You will be fine! But, don't let the scorn of a woman sour you on Florida... it's a great place to live. Just move from Brooksville down to Tampa proper and you will see. Whatever you do: good luck!

Hi Bob:
Sorry to hear about the shi**y news. What can I say, it sucks. I know this from personal experience. I also know the pain and frustration eventually passes and life gets better again.

Now, if you are basing future locals by the number of votes they get, please add another vote for Norcal.

Best wishes.

Michael
