Tony - your garage is almost impossible to beat....but I'm kinda partial to John's garage.

His garage has this aftermarket addition from RUF that just puts it over the top.

Guys I must admit that you impress me with your garages!! You could eat on the floor!! How do you do it? If you lift your car on a jack, don't you leave marks on the ground? Never dropped a drop of oil or brake fluid? Coming back from a trip on salty roads in the winter...

Default Most amazing garage

An acquaintance of mine has the most amazing garage I've ever seen. Check out the link to photos of his garage. This is truly what I aspire to have someday!

These garage photos are amazing. Now my turn to smack this thread back into reality. Here is what your garage looks like when it was built in 1936. The one cool thing is that I do have a hose and a drain in the garage so if I have to I can wash a car inside during the colder months. Excuse the peeling paint on the back of the house...getting ready to start a renovation and will be building a detached garage at that time...something like Tony356993 would be very nice

Thanks for your pics Mark! Closer to my standard

Here is a pic of mine:

one thing is important if you don't have room enough for a lift: a pit!

Thanks everyone.

I spent many hours surfing and researching to come up with my finished project. Good luck to everyone in the planning stage. My next purchase is a lift.

Thanks for the pics, these are helpful to me as we're in the process of designing a new house.

FWIW, Costco is having a sale on their decking, $90 a box of 48, or about $2/sq ft. If we were closer on our project I'd buy it and stash it!

Cool.

If you ever need to clean it, just us the Armstong no wax floor cleaner--spray down the floor, literally dump the cleaner over the floor, use a broom to scrub it a bit, and then spray it out. Done.

Looks good.
