Now those seat raisers !! Simple spacers between the seat and rail together with longer bolts .
I did this but ran out of parts once I had the passenger seat fixed !!

The only time she took my car to work, some guys ended up honking at her, waving their arms, she didn't like the attention. Since then, she only rides shotgun.

Absolutely. She's a driver and loves the car. I'm planning on getting another 993 and this will become mostly her car. I'm gonna start taking her to AX with me this year; should be fun.

I've always been drawn to women who drive p-cars.

My wife doesn't like driving, period. Says if we ever hit the lottery she's going to get a chauffeur. She can't drive a stick and I'm not going to teach her in a Porsche.

I would have no problem letting a woman drive my car, just not my wife. Some women (and men too) just aren't very good drivers. Oh, and her brother falls into the bad driver category. From what I understand, he had 4 accidents w/ a rental car when he went to Europe a couple of years ago.

My wife used to love driving my car when I first got it (she's a good driver), but she quickly tired of hearing me ask about how and where she parked it, did she put the sun shade up, etc. Although she liked driving it, a car is mostly a machine that provides some utility for her. Now she is over it, for the most part... and that makes me happy!

YES, actually truth be told she is the one that inflicted be with this nasty Porsche-virus-for-which-there-is-no-cure, back when we started dating (2 decades ago) she got a 68 912. Great handling car, waay underpowered, but fun once you got it moving. Then I got a 911SC Targa which is the car I lusted for when I was in High School. As the virus has progressed to its current stage, I got a 993 Coupe!

Funny story, my mechanic saw my SC on the Freeway one day, and he commented how fast I was driving....He pulled up (in his 79 Turbo) and realized it was my wife driving...

She drove the SC just after we got the 993 a few weeks ago when it was raining and had a hard time getting the wipers to work, and turn the headlights on (one of those little nuances/features the car had) Once she got home, she put the keys on the counter and said, "I am so glad we upgraded!"

She won't drive the 993 often but when she does, I get to take her Benz (300CE)!

My wife also does the AutoX events with me. While talking to a friend who is woring on convincing his wife about the need to make some performance upgrades to his car I realized how lucky I am to have my wife approach me about upgarding shocks, sways, dedicated track wheels and tires etc.
