I will be late to Rockville, probably be there around 10:30, then I will have to miss the lunch as my son's go-kart race is tomorrow apparently and it starts at 1 pm at Allsports, sorry

Gosh, another perfect Sunday weatherwise. The weather gods are with us again. If we spill out onto the Toy's R Us parking lot, so be it! People who see us will probably think that there's a new Porsche dealership opening up in that Starbucks lot 
My wife is claiming she'll actually show up with me this year. We'll see. She's said this before, but I think she may come. Once she sees a "Meet" like this I'm sure she'll be more understanding of my Porsche obsession. I'm hoping there are some other wives or signigicant other's there for her to chat with when the boredom sets it today as we babbly on about our cars.

OH NO!!!!!!!!! I can't make it everyone! My head is a mess! Sinus' took over big time last night and I can't keep my head up! Driving a Porsche is the most-unsafe thing I could probably do at the moment! Damn, that's real upsetting. I was so lookin forward to this! I even rescheduled on my plans! (good thing I did because I would have missed those too, and that would have been a huge mess!)
I am considering driving my GTI out there just to see everyone and take some pictures. I live really close. I'm hoping all these freakin' medicines open me up a bit. If I do show up, it will definitely only be for the meet and greet. Grr....1 hour...hurry meds hurry!
PS.... I hate spring time in our area! How can we possibly be sooo allergic to our own environment!!!!
If I don't show, i hope everyone enjoys the drive! It will be awesome i'm sure. And someone take some big group shots! I remember when our drives were like 12 people!

What a great meet. Too bad David did such a shabby job pulling this thing together. Seriously David, I can't believe you couldn't round up any Carrera GT's for this, otherwise we would have had a full house.

Just home.....what a blast....great fun meet and drive...... let me thank EVERYBODY just for showing up and making this the biggest turnout (over 45 cars) and the most interesting we had most of the p-car range.....sorry I did not get round and say hi to everybody........truely great water and oil mixed well for once......... those that did not come to the lunch ... shame on you....til next time

Best turnout yet. Enjoyed meeting the small group in Alexandria and our early sprint run down the GW Parkway 
Great seeing familiar faces and meeting new folks. Some really beautiful cars showed up today and had a good showing of all models across the board.
Thanks again to David for setting everything up. The ferry turned out just fine although I was worried going down the hill to get on if my car would clear
