I haven't been able to follow the entire thread, but any issue with arriving sans P-car? Mine is under the knife (in the middle of a rod bearing change) so I'll have to arrive in my daily driver Honda. I'd like to see everyone in Rockville but won't be able to attend the drive for lunch.
I'm trying to make the event, unlike Mark, ;-) but want to know how badly I'll be ostracized. Comments about my lack of mechanical ability since my car isn't running are expected.

But I thought if you didn't arrive in a "P-Car" than you had to bow down to the row of parked "P-Cars" and recite the "Ferry Porsche" pledge...

Yes, along with what John said....we might have to park that Honda at the end of the line for photographic reasons...
HAHA, yeah its all good. Bring whatever. We've never been obsessive. I've done PCA rallies where someone brought their toyota! It was really funny, it kept catching me off guard when they would wave as we crossed paths over and over!

Jerome,
I think the only regulation for such an instance is for the automotive dissident (you) to walk around and touch each hood badge while pledging your allegiance to Porsche.

Geesh, with all of the love shown by my Porsche bretheren maybe I should park next door and browse incognito.
Don't worry, I'm used to the ribbing. I catch far worse at the track due to my (lack of) driving abilities.
Don't worry, I wouldn't dream of paking my old Honda near the P-cars and risk ruining a perfectly good photo. Heck, at home I don't even park the Honda near the 951 because it just isn't right. Though I wouldn't mind if some of the Honda reliability rubbed off on the Porsche.
See everyone Saturday morning...

Thanks Andreas. I thought it was Saturday (those darned calendars are so difficult to decipher). See everyone Sunday, then.
