Hey TD in DC, like many other Boxster owners on these forums, you can't stand hearing an opinion that isn't watered-down. What is up with that?
Here I am, giving an honest opinion on a Boxster in response to "Boxster S is a close match for a 993." In fact, I pretty much AGREED with that premise, as I have experience with both on the track, and they're quite close. I also have experience with a Boxster falling apart, but apparently that's something I should leave out of my comments, because I might hurt someone's feelings. You people act like I just took away your ice cream cone or something. Babies.

You work on a campus. Why don't you go get yourself laid, because you seem to be taking this $hit far too seriously. My posts in this thread aren't intended to be entirely serious. I was just having a good time with flying finn, and I think the Aw Jeez picture is funny, that's all, which I tried to communicate to you by putting the winking smiley in the post. Apparently, you didn't get it. I don't really care what you say in your posts, they certainly don't offend me or bore me enough to put you on ignore, and I am even less interested in arguing on the Interweb.

1) To have people remind you to get laid?
2) To have people buy you a drink?
3) To have people lay you when you get cranky?
All I can say is, "I hope I never get so old that I forget to get laid"

What is this, the 964 board? Seriously, before this gets out of hand, go over and see how they had there own melt down over the last few days. Pretty sad. Amazing we are actually more critical of Porsche's modern marvels than of the new Corvette.
By the way, proud to be in the ******** 993 family.

7 pages and still going strong, Wow i should insult more forums.I never tried to compare the 993 vs the 996, 2 different cars I know this first hand. My comment was to those 993 owners that cant stand the 996 for reasons they have heard from other 993 owners and don't know ****....well just talk it.We bought our cars because its what we wanted regardless of it being a 964,993 996 or boxster. I respect the crest , this doesn't mean i like all of the owners. Every generation Porsche has its problems , yes the RMS for the 996 , the dreaded clogged valve on the 993 and so on and so on... so what?.I honestly think the 993 is a great car, and if i had my way I would own every year ever made. And I voted in your poll
